Jonathan Rumbelow (current student) has been appointed as the Coach/Manager of the South African Triathlon team which will be competing at the ITU Africa Continental Championships in Agadir, Morocco later this week. The team consists of 21 athletes, the biggest team South Africa has sent to an Africa Championship event. Also to Zarina Bahdur (past student who graduated top of her class in 2011/12) has been accepted into the prestigious FIFA Master programme which starts in September this year.

The FIFA Master was recently ranked, for the 2nd year running, as the number one Sport Management Master qualification in Europe by Sport Business International Magazine.  In excess of 300 people across the world apply annually for this qualification of which only 30 are accepted.

Zarina follows in the footsteps of another NMMU alumnus Solomon Mudege, who completed the FIFA Master in 2010.

Well done to you both!
